Royalties from Johnny Cash's song "Country Boy" and legendary "Get Rhythm" is the focus of a complaint filed Wednesday by a firm based in Nashville entertainment.
Sun Entertainment Corporation alleges that Dallas-based Compadre records did not challenge the fees for cash master recordings that have been used in advertising and movie trailers.
In particular, Sun Entertainment alleges that the documents received Compadre $ 23,000 for "Country Boy" license at the end of 2009 for the ABC network during the CMA Music Festival and CMA Awards. He also said that the label of Texas received $ 40 000 for licensing a remix of the song for a movie trailer.

Sun Entertainment said in the documents it is entitled to 50 percent of net revenues from these efforts is based on an agreement signed with Compadre in 2007, in which Sun Entertainment received an advance for $ 20 000 Cash master recordings.
